Fresh off her Best Actress Emmy win for "Killing Eve", Jodie Comer is in talks to join the cast of Ridley Scott's revenge drama "The Last Duel" at Disney-Fox.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck co-star in the film set in 14th century France, the story follows a man who goes to war and returns to discover a friend of his has raped his wife.

Comer would play the female lead in a revenge story set in 14th century about a woman who claims she’s been raped by her husband’s best friend. But when no one believes her accusation, her husband challenges his friend to a duel, the last legally sanctioned duel in the country’s history.

We first reported on the film back in July when we learned that it would be the long-awaited re-teaming of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, who would star and also work on the script with Nicole Holofcener.
