Baftas 2019: The Favourite takes home seven awards.


The Favourite dominated the Bafta film awards on Sunday night, picking up seven awards out of 12 nominations.

Among its haul were best actress for Olivia Colman and best supporting actress for Rachel Weisz.

Roma, meanwhile, scored Best Film, Director for Alfonso Cuaron, Film Not In The English Language, and Cinematography. With six nominations, Cuaron's four wins represented a record in BAFTA history.

Bohemian Rhapsody's Rami Malek won another Acting trophy, while Mahershala Ali added another win to his list for Green Book. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse took the animated category, with Black Panther triumphant in visual effects.
