Ron Howard Open to Directing Another Star Wars Movie.

Director Ron Howard has revealed that he would be open to directing another Star Wars movie. Howard was hired to finish directing Solo: A Star Wars Story, after directing duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were fired due to "creative differences". This only fueled people's concerns about the film, which unfortunately effected Solo's box office income.

So while the chances are looking very slim right now for the Han Solo spinoff getting a sequel, there’s always the possibility that Lucasfilm would be interested in giving the filmmaker another project to work on – and presumably one with a less chaotic production.

"I had a great experience with that. It would depend entirely on the story," Howard said. "My daughter Bryce is thrilled. She's been announced to be directing one of the new episodes of the series headed by Jon Favreau."

The series Howard is referring to here is The Mandalorian, with Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard set to direct – and according to recent rumors, act in – one of the episodes of this live action show.
