Bold Films has announced that Natalie Portman and Jude Law are set to star in Vox Lux, the new film from writer-director Brady Corbet (The Childhood of a Leader).
The film will star Portman as in the lead role of Celeste, and follows her rise from the ashes of a major national tragedy to pop superstardom. A 15-year odyssey, set between 1999 and the present day, Vox Lux tracks the important cultural evolutions of the 21st Century through Celeste’s eyes, and the soundtrack will feature all original songs written by Grammy-nominated artist Sia.
Portman will next be seen in Alex Garland's sci-fi thriller Annihilation, out in the States on 23 February and hitting Netflix internationally on the same day.
