Charlie's Angels reboot targets Stewart and Nyong'o.

Kristen Stewart and Lupita Nyong'o are being considered for two of the lead roles in the Charlie's Angels reboot from Elizabeth Banks.

The new big screen take on Charlie's Angels is continuing to move forward at Sony. For some time, it's been known that Elizabeth Banks is set to direct the film, and the idea is to have the movie in cinemas for the summer of 2019.

Created by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts for producer Aaron Spelling, the original 1976-1981 TV series line-up of 'Angels' starred Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith, followed by a "Charlie's Angels" feature (2000) starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. That film's sequel was "Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle"
