Heaven (2002) - Details

Torino. Four innocent people die in an explosion. Philippa (Cate Blanchett), an English teacher, is caught by the police without any resistance, but she's shocked when she hears the facts. Her target was somebody else, a drug dealer responsible for the deaths of her man and many of her pupils. The police suppose the existence of a political background. Only a young policeman (Giovanni Ribisi) trusts her and is deeply convinced they are made for each other. He develops a plan to free her, this may cost him his job or his life …
