Jack (Michael Caine) has died. We join a group of his friends who gather to scatter his ashes and pay their last respects. The journey they embark on takes them not only through the English countryside but through a nostalgia trip of good times with their dearly missed friend. Told through a series of flashbacks from the 1940s to the present day (with a comedy 70s stop on the way) this is a heart-warmingly tender film that brings together some of Britain's premiere acting talent - Bob Hoskins, Caine, Helen Mirren and Ray Winstone.
