Planet 51 : Movie Review

Glipforg is such a nice, quiet town - straight out of the 1950s, with fresh-faced teens, backyard BBQs and pupils crouching under their desks during air-raid drills at school. Then again, the fresh-faced teens have green skin and floppy antennae. The BBQ grill levitates meat. And the kids doing the duck-and-cover are preparing for a massive human invasion.

Welcome to Planet 51 -and "Planet 51," an innocuous computerized bauble set on a distant orb where the asparagus-colored population, so thoroughly brainwashed by alien-invasion movies, goes into paranoiac civil-defense mode when U.S. astronaut Chuck Baker happens to plop his lander near a picket fence.
