Catch Me If You Can (2002) - Synopsis ImageSteven Spielberg takes a break from directing gravely important movies to toss off the relatively modest "Catch Me If You Can," a pleasant romp through the land of Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction.

The story is based on the life of Frank Abagnale Jr., who in his late teens passed himself off as, variously, an airline pilot, a doctor and a lawyer. He did it for the heck of it, as well as the check-cashing privileges - to the tune of millions. Not to mention the girls.
