Mujhe Chand Chahiye : Movie Review

Shan's second directorial venture "Mujhe Chand Chahiye" under the banner of X9-Production is definitely one of the lollywood's better made movies. It's a musical love story, which revolves around three people.

The story starts with Raziuddin (Javed Shaikh) called Razi by Maima (Atiqa Odho)-a happily living couple that is trying to establish it self financially. Razi an ambitious architect, who only wants to be rich. His dreams cometrue when his father's millionaire business friend meets him and include him in his family by marrying her daughter with him. When Maima caught her husband with her second wife, she left for Hong Kong without informing Razi.
Maima brings up her son Zain (Shan). Zian fall in love with Pakistani model Chand (Noor). He leaves for Pakistan and manages to secure a job as Chand's music teacher. The third man in the recipe is Imran (Moamer Rana). Imran is in collage with Chand and also love her but can't express to her. Reema playing as Zameen, a tomboy friend of Imran, she also taught him how to propose Chand. During teaching she falls in love with him.
Maima returns to Pakistan to ask for Chand's hand in marriage and discover that she is Razi's daughter. You want to know how movie concluded but for that you have to go theaters.

Shan-the captain of the ship directs the movie perfectly and now he should be included in the best directors of Lollywood.

All the actors performed well but especially three Javed Shaikh, Atiqa Odho and Shan again proven their acting potentials.

All songs have good lyrics because this department contains three poets including R. R Saghar.

"Mujhe Chand Chahiye" can easily be quoted as musical love story. Ronak Ali and Sajjid Ali composed quality music. Each and every song is catchy and background score is good too. The best song of the film is " Jan bhi day doo" which is also played instrumentally in last sequence of the movie.

Pappu Samrat choreophed all dance sequences well especially the one, which is picturised on Reema and Momi at Lahore fort.

Like music art department is also the plus point of the movie. Tanveer Fatima Rehman has selected beautiful outdoor locations and designed sets quite stylish.

Cinematography is quite appreciated, especially the songs.

Costumes are quite impressive.

X9-Productions had done a creditable job by producing each part of movie beautiful. We hope for better productions from Tanveer Fatima Rehman under the banner of X9-Productions.
