Bones : Movie Review

bones - synopsis heading graphicEver since Leprechaun In the Hood, we started to miss ghetto horror movies. Candyman was memorable for this but didn’t have the same atmosphere as the last two.

The film plays with ridicule and often makes us smile. Many references to the drug traffic and prostitution that can be found in poor neighbourhoods give this film its personality and make it different. When we jump to present time, where most of the action happens, the characters still think of the character that supposedly haunts the building. Sadly, it takes an enormous amount of time for the movie to arrive to the awaited action. In the wait of his massacre, we are fed with premonitory dreams, apparitions and flashbacks, during a whole hour. When Bones awakens, we have right to a good show.. a very good show.
